Travel Log: Lansing to Detroit (DTW) to Phoenix (PHX) to Honolulu (HNL)

As we mentioned briefly already, our Pacific Travels have begun! We made it safe and sound to Honolulu. Our bus ride/flights were uneventful, which even though chaos stories are more fun to tell about later, uneventful is always the best outcome. Here's some picture from our travels.

ahead of schedule at 5:00 PM (HAST)

We didn't have to check any baggage and the friends that we're visiting/staying with only live like 10 minutes from the airport. So pickup from the airport was nice and easy. The only thing left to do was that we needed to do our best to stay awake so we could fight jet lag. So we spent the evening catching up with our friends, ate a delicious meal outside (since that's the type of thing you can do here), and learned/played a new game called Hanabi (which I'm sure we'll talk about more in a later post cuz it's super fun!). We made it till about 10 PM and then called it day. And that was that. Our day of travel from Lansing to Honolulu was complete.
