Sailing on Lake Lansing

In August we had the chance to go sailing on Lake Lansing with Brandon's co-worker and friend Stephen along with his wife Susanna. We learned some sailing techniques and lingo while we kept an eye on the sky for an incoming storm. We even had a chance to take turns steering the sailboat with close supervision. It was an awesome experience with some pretty cool people. We just need to study our sailing handbook souvenir and try it again sometime!

We're sailing!

Our fate is in my hands. Kind of.

Brandon's turn to steer and get back to the dock before the impending storm

We managed to get the sailboat in and covered before the tumult of rain that caused us all to hide in the sailing club kitchen/closet and wait it out

    1. Sails-Away!!! (I think we still need to work on our sailing terminology, not even sure if that's a real thing people say. Sounds good though.)
