On one of the days that we needed to get the boys out of the house, we took advantage of the kids' coupon book from school and did some laser tag and arcade games. Laser tag itself was still more expensive than we thought even with the coupon. So we played one game with all four of us, and then we let the boys play one more game by themselves.
The game we played with the boys was a lot of fun. It was everyone for themselves. Katie and I destroyed Eli and Cael. Although Cael did beat me on the one stat that I usually always win: worst accuracy. My theory is that if you have a gun with unlimited ammo, you might as well just shoot like crazy. I pretty much just hold down the trigger the entire game. Well apparently Cael had a similar theory, but he just hit his target fewer times. Cael and Eli were also very good at hiding in the decent sized laser tag arena. When they played their second game we could watch a surveillance video feed of various spots in the arena. It seemed like they spent most the game just trying to find each others. It was hilarious to watch.
After the games of laser tag we let the boys have 10 tokens each to play arcade games. They mainly focused on games with good ticket rewards so that they could pick out prizes after they were done. Good times were had all around.
