Hawaii Weekend Adventures: Part Two

As promised, I will now write about Sunday's adventures in Hawaii. We started out the day by attending Brian and Becky's church on the east side of the island. The drive there was gorgeous winding through tunnels and steep mountain faces with green growth and misty tops. The church felt almost open-air with all its windows, and it was wonderful worshiping and meeting new people. After church, Brian and Becky often head out to nearby Bellows Beach with friends, so we were able to tag along for that tradition. We played in the strong waves, attempted to surf (Brandon got up once!), played volleyball (Brandon, not me), and boogie boarded all afternoon.
